Choosing the people who will manage your investments is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make.
At MCM, we believe that investment analysts should have to prove themselves before they can influence client accounts. That’s why we require that all MCM Analysts have at least a 5 year track record and be designated a Marketocracy Master by our affiliate Marketocracy Data Services, LLC, (MDS) before their model portfolios are used for clients in our separately managed account program.
There are two things we can say about the future; The market will change, and no one performs well all the time. That’s why no matter how good an analyst’s track record looks, we monitor performance and hold each analyst accountable for results.
Past performance does not predict future performance because past performance is the result of opportunities that have already come to fruition. However, we should expect analysts to apply the same good judgement to the opportunities the future brings as they exhibited in their past decisions.
Most investment decisions are judgement calls because at the time you make them there is almost never enough information to know for sure how things will turn out. Our managed account program enables clients to access the strategies of MCM Analysts who have a track record of making good judgement calls over time and have MCM hold them accountable for their results.
